Founded in 1970, MELCO GAUGES and MELCO ENGRAVING SUPPLIES have been manufacturing and supplying Measuring, Indicating and Controlling Instruments as well as supplying and installations of world renowned Gravograph engraving equipment in the Southern African region for over 40 years. MELCO GAUGES is well known for supplying a wide range of high quality Thermometers, Pressure Gauges and ancillary products, under their own brand name as well as brand names like Nuova Fima, Brannan and Ludwig Schneider which are suited for most industrial and commercial applications. MELCO ENGRAVING SUPPLIES was appointed as the official GRAVOGRAPH engraving equipment distributor from the early days and with a great number of installed machines in the market, remains till today, the preferred equipment for reliability and quality. With machines installed at companies like Siemens, Anglo Platinum, Brandhouse, SANDF and City of Cape Town to name a few. MELCO ENGRAVING SUPPLIES in the last few years also entered the trophy market and now offers a wide range of medals and NEW design trophies to the African market.
Towards the latter part of 2010, long serving management of Melco Gauges and Melco Engraving Supplies were given the opportunity to continue the long lasting legacy of the companies as the owners went on retirement. The two companies have now merged as MELCO INSTRUMENTATION (PTY) LTD. Under the new company banner, staff and management will continue to strive to offer the best product at the best price to our loyal and new customers. We will continue to search for new and innovative products and services to assist our customers where required from our two branches situated in Johannesburg and Cape Town as well as with representation in Kwazulu Natal.
